Other additions included six new restaurants. A 986-room edition to the 35-story Carnival Tower was added. On April 18, 1995, Harrah's introduced the Improv Comedy Club.Ī major $200 million renovation in 1997 completely removed all of the hotel and casino's riverboat theme and replaced it with a major Mardi Gras and Carnival theme. The Holiday Casino was renamed to Harrah's, and the property was no longer owned by Holiday Inn or Riverboat Inc, but it was now owned by Caesars Entertainment. In 1992, the previous name for Harrah's, Holiday Casino, begun a massive renovation, enlarging the casino's riverboat to a completely new red color, adding a five-story neon paddlewheel, and a brand new LED screen in the center.
This is just one of the multiple Harrah's Casinos located across the United States, such as Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, Laughlin, and Philadelphia. Harrah's officially opened with it's name in 1992. The hotel has over 2,600 rooms and originally opened in 1973 as the Holiday Casino. Harrah's is a Mardi Gras-themed hotel and casino located on the right side of the Strip in Paradise, Nevada.
